Hello,
I am kind of new to palmistry. but i have noticed some markings on the palm which i am intrigued about:
1) Diamond shapes on the Mount of Apollo
2) Island on the head line
3) There are changes in my fate line where, at first it looked like a branch from the fate line moving upwards but now it shows another branch of of that original branch which makes it look like an island on the fate line.

Hi Danish
I remember when I first began studying palmistry, I spent ages searching for clues as to what the diamond shape was that I could see at the end of my heart line. To this day I have never found any information. However, the reason is because the diamond shape didn't actually 'mean' anything at all. However, the lines making up the diamond shape did. So if you are interested in this diamond shape, then it would be better to look for information on vertical and oblique lines running through your Apollo mount.
Vertical lines running up through your palms suggest an active channelling of energy, associated with the qualities of whichever mount the lines are being directed towards. So if you have vertical lines running up through your Apollo mount, then this suggests an active channelling of Apollonian energy. You will find lots of information on the influence of Apollo.
An island on the head line suggests reduced clarity of the mental processes; confusion, indecision, a time of depression or worry perhaps. Islands on the head line reduce the strength of the line. Islands below the Saturn mount suggest a general difficulty in dealing with stressful situations.
There is a general tendency to worry about the appearance of islands, believing that any branch that happens to connect with another could be creating an island. Often this isn't the case at all, and the branches are exactly that - branches. If an island does appear on the fate line, it does reduce the strength of the line for a short time, suggesting the person may temporarily lose sight of his purpose in life and perhaps feels lost for a short time. It has also been associated with financial worries.
On the fate line, an island could be considered an event marking which can be timed, whereas on the head line, an island (unless it appears below Saturn) should be interpreted as something that is affecting the person in the here and now. This would not be an event marking so much as a situation that the person is currently dealing with.
Sue

Hi Sue,
I am wondering what does an island on Saturn Mount mean. There are many interpretations of this island on the Saturn mount such as kidney failure or the encounter of misfortunes in old age. What does it mean from your perspective?
Thank you
Jenny

Acually I do believe diamonds mean something, especially on the heart line - frozen or crystalized energy. At the end of the heart line, the diamond can mean that person has access to thier heart line energy - up to a point - then freezes or crystalizes their focus and the energy comes to a grinding halt.
Most commonly seen on Passionate heart lines (see my blog for what the heart line types look like http://www.lovestyles.blogspot.com) a diamond at the end by the fingers could mean a Passionate feels permission "to a point" of expressing passion then freezes up before the full expression is completed - could be angry a little bit instead of fully expressing anger, feels sexual to a point then is challenged to allow it more expression, etc.
