Hi everyone!  I have been interested in palmistry for a long time and always had a question about my own right hand.  I have three parallel lines where the head and heart lines go.  I thought for a long time that maybe I had a broken heart or head line but could never find anything quite like what mine looks like nor what that would mean.  I recently discovered information about the girdle of venus line and think maybe that is what the top line is.  It definately would explain my extreme anxious and sensitive nature (have even been to a psychiatrist for anxiety disorder symptoms).  However it is a little lower than I have seen in diagrams of it.  What do you more experienced palmists think?  I know the photo isn't that great but I hope you can see what I am talking about.  Thanks so much!  Sorry the picture is so big, let me know if that is a violation of the forum or anything like that.

Hello jdaneal,

When I saw your hand it is exactly same as mine. Yes that line may be venous of girdle. Yes I am too sensitive and emotional from last two years. One more thing that I want to share with you. I was in serious relationship with my girlfriend and one day she quit the relation. We were together for more than five years. I don’t know exact reason behind this. I don’t know where is she?  Without her I found my life empty and directionless. Every night I sleep with lot of tension and every morning I woke up with no hops.

One more thing i never took any kind of madicine or drugs for this.
Now tell me what the similarity between your life and mine are

Hi mysaradv,

Well I wouldn't say we are really that similar in love.  I got married at 19 and will have been married for 10 years in October.  It has been a very difficult marriage that I have several times debated ending.  I did have a few other relationships before marrying this man and one of which I think of now and then.  I am very passionate and believe strongly in love but sometimes think I missed the boat.  No real separations though.

Hello jdaneal,

Regarding the question in your first message:

I would describe your heartline as: 'a broken-heartline, with a simianesque tendency in the lower part' (for the lower part of your heart line appears to end at your headline).

By the way, ABOVE the upper part of your heart line I see some fine lines which appear to be a complete girdle of venus.

:thoughtful

(actually, I think this combination is found in the hands of about 2% of people)

PS. Great to see that you seem to have found a soul-mate in this forum!

Hello hand_research,

Yes you are correct. There is another line above upper part of heart line. If it is venous of girdle then what is meaning of broken heart line like this.

What you mean by simianesque tendency.

Please check my post also. Same type of broken heart line present on my right hand.

Hello jdaneal,

I wish you that broken heart line must not be related with breakup in relationship. Breakups are very painful for both sides.

Also I found two crossed line near life line (at center part of palm), which is also present on my right hand palm. What is meaning of that.

Ok people, if you think it is a broken heart line, please tell me what that would mean for me?  I used to think that is what it was but could never find info about its meaning.  Am I unable to love or something terrible like that? lol!

Are you right-handed or left-handed? (Sorry if this has been answered already, but I didn't see it while browsing through.)

I'm having a hard time making out exactly what is going on with your heart line on your birth hand (left hand). I could be wrong (due to the quality of the scan), but it looks like your heart line ends without curving up toward the top of the hand, and without stretching across to the other side of the palm. If I'm right about that, this would indicate that you're the kind of person that has emotions, but doesn't show them... and keep in mind that this is on the hand that shows your potential, not your current reality.

That, coupled with a broken heart line on your dominant hand might indicate to me that you may be a bit unlucky in matters of the heart and emotions. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, mind you. Broken lines may show a person's weaknesses, but this can serve as a good reminder for what you may need to work on. Count yourself lucky for that! It's like having a string tied to your finger, constantly reminding you of how you can improve. And if you make an effort to express your feelings a bit more to others, and if you tend to yourself and your relationships, these lines can and will change.

-Eric

P.S. please feel free to give me feedback on my interpretations and advice. I am always striving to improve my skills. Thanks! :)

Hello Mysaradv,

Sorry, I should have explained:

I used the word 'simianesque' for I think the lower branch of your heartline shows a tendency related to the so-called 'simian line' (because it ends at your headline).

By the way, very interesting that your left hand also shows are break in the heartline at the some location ... however it is much smaller, and it has some characteristics of an 'island' (though I would need a higher resolution photo to observe this in detail).

Thanks for posting these excellent photo's!

Martijn.

Hello Hand_Research

Please check high resolution image of both palms in my own topic "Broken heart line and life line". (I think, I should interrupt discussion on queries raised by jdaneal. This space must be allocated for jdaneal for posting her image). Thank you.

Hello Mysaradv,

Oeps ... :shy sorry ... now I see ... it was your question ... but not your hands!

By the way, thank you very much for the link to YOUR hands! Very interesting ... yes, I would say that the break in the heart line of your right hand ... looks very much as the formation in jdaneal's right hand.

And also very interesting that you both have a small break in het heartline of your left hand!
:thoughtful
Interesting, especially in the perspective of your 'soul-mate' contact with jdaneal. Now I would like to hear what Pamelah Landers - she's a heartline expert - has to say about your hands ....!?

Thanks, Martijn, for sending me the link about this. I agree with Martijn regarding the broken heart and simian quality.

In my experience, it feels like you were born with this broken heart line and it's a perspective from which you view the world. I'm a big believer that each life we create our soul map (your entire body, the hands being a microcosm) to learn a major lesson at a soul level so that we complete a cycle from multiple life times. It feels to me like this life time is about your heart, feelings, your capacity to love yourself.

Also, the break creates two heart line types: Hermit and Big Heart. The Hermit is the short one that ends and is 'reaching out' to the head line. The long piece that goes to the Jupiter finger is a Big Heart (my language). These are opposite heart line types and thus creates a challenging view of relationships, what you want, how you want to be treated. And looking at your right hand it seems like you have a Romantic Idealist, yet another heart line type - 3 of 4 possibilities exist in your hands. When I see that, I do believe that dealing with feelings, emotions, relationships is major reason for your presence in this life time.

The other thing I want to add is that viewing life from a broken hearted perspective doesn't mean that will always be the case - how the law of attraction could apply here is that at some level you expect to have your heart broken. When healing happens inside of you, first by consciousness about it, then by being aware and changing an attitude or belief each time you feel "broken hearted", and knowing it isn't about somebody else doing something to you, then healing happens and you can being a journey of creating a new perspective - not expecting your heart to be broken.

It does feel like this is a major focus for your life so many relationships, either dating or friends, family, business associates will look like they are 'breaking your heart' until something in you expects something different.

The Simian quality of intensity adds to the package and you could intensely feel broken hearted. Others may not understand or grasp the intensity from which you feel these emotions but I do believe it is your life time to heal for many life times broken hearted experiences.

Do you have a lot of loops on your fingerprints?

Wow.  Thanks for the great responses.  Well here is a little bit more about me that might help.  I am a social worker in child welfare/protection for a big city, so yes I see things and am involved in relationships that break my heart everyday!  Also I am a romantic and feel things very deeply.  As I said before I am in a nearly 10 year marriage but it has been really hard and even at this moment I am debating ending the relationship.  I don't feel he is who I should be with and have felt that for a long time, but it is so complicated with children involved.  I long for much more in that department.

I am an intense and passionate person too, I would say an adreneline junky (the child welfare crisis investigator in me).  I am anxious and have a cronic problem picking my cuticles and as I said went to a therapist for anxiety issues, but did not get diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

I was adopted at birth then my adoptive parents divorced and each remarried.  My stepmother died when I was 17, and my stepfather was a crazy cult like leader of a church.  Then he and my adoptive mother divorced.  I know a lot of my biological family and they have a lot of problems, drug addiction, mental illness, etc.  So there is a lot of stuff going on, kind of like my hands show.  Thanks so much for your interpretations.  Oh and my fingerprints are loop shaped.

you are welcome, and I can fully see by your story that you definitely picked environments where healing your broken heart, for you, would be a great focus for this life.

Hello Pamelah Landers and Martijn,

Let us tell you about myself. I am 27 year old male from India. I am living with my biological parent. They don’t have any problem between each other.  Also I am very happy that I got such parent. They taught me good lessons during my childhood. Also they never opposed me in anything (which mostly not happed in India).

I am post graduated in Computers. I was having affair with one girl during my graduation period that continued even after my graduation was over. She had lot of oppose from her parents because I am from different religion and her family astrologer told her parent about my horoscope. In India most of the people do arranged marriage after consulting astrologer.

Even after their opposition with stay together for two year. But suddenly she turned away from her promises and never come back till date. My parent ready for this marriage (even my family astrologer against this) and before one month only she turned away from her promises.

During that five years, I have rejected so many marriage proposals from my relatives and friend because of her. Even after she left, since last two year I have received more than dozens of marriage proposals but I think no one can take her place in my life.

Also I have faced lot of opposition at my work place. The opposition I faced from my old friend only. Sometimes I found myself alone. But now I learned that never trust anybody. Everyone wants to live here, they are thinking from their own perspective. Then why should I think about other people. But yes I never hurt them with any means.

I am handling team of 22 people. During work time I kept myself busy but when I return home, I still remember the time I had spent with my girlfriend because of which I feel everything worthless.

One more thing I have loops on every fingers. I need some information on my fate line.

Thank you.

Loops on the fingerprints are also about relationships, love matters most. So in alignment with the broken heart line, it's pretty clear to me that this your chance to work with self love and then love from others.

I had an awareness this morning about an analogy that works well for the broken heart line. The story of Romeo and Juliet. Two people who love each other deeply but through a serious break in communication (a break in the heart line) Juliet sees Romeo, thinking he's dead and not asking questions or checking it out. She kills herself because she can't live without him. He awakes and is extremely broken hearted because she's died. Both lovers are broken hearted. And although we don't see the rest of his life, wouldn't it make sense that the perspective of reality, the view through which Romeo then views life would be filtered by his broken heart? So when you come in with one, your perspective and viewpoint are often impacted by the broken heart.
