I am curious and would like to hear your opinion. Today I met women with considerably short Top Phalanges on thumbs (both hands) and long Jupiter Finger (it appeared longer then Apollo Finger).
Her hands were on smaller size (she is a petite women) with bigger palms and shorter fingers (I guess is could be classified as a Fire Hand)
So as per my understanding short top phalanges on thumb represent luck of will power, however long Jupiter finger represents ambitions / achievements / self esteem etc.
How this two futures can interact in the hand reading? Please help to understand.
Above are only my quick observations and not detail palm review.

did you notice her finger & thumb prints ? what about flexibility of fingers and thumbs?
for example, if thumb is stiff, even with short top phalanx, especially if top phalanx is wide and plump, they can be very stubborn. moreso if whorl print.
It is "normal" for women to have Jupiter the same length or slightly longer than Apollo.

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for your reply,
She had slightly flexible thumb and pretty wide and plump too with relatively small fan type nails.
I did not look at her fingerprints because I was studying her hands while she was running a meeting and having a speech.
people like to talk with their hands sometimes and here is where I always find a chance to look at the hand futures (one of my favorite things to do during the boring meetings )
She also had a low set and very long Mercury finger, I guess one of the great examples of her good communication skills.
My question, what luck of will power leads to, if this is what short thumb top phalanges represents?

wide and plump short top phalange of thumb finger generally represents aggresive nature of the person.wider the top phalange more aggresive the subject.

Wide and short top phalange of the thumb does not mean aggressiveness..according to me.
Infact, come to think of it - if the top phalange is short then it means the person thinks too much before acting out - so its contrary of aggressiveness.

That could be due to her mercury finger than the thumb.
She might be 'good in talking' or communicating (mercury qualities) not necessarily 'acting them out' (short top phalange of the thumb).
However, the above mentioned qualities reflect to the personal behaviour more than the professional behaviour.
IN our professional lives - we may not 'enjoy' working out a project but regardless we do have to work out that project, to give optimum results.
