Glad you like them Lynn!  :)

My mind is ticking over all the time at the moment, trying to think of new things for the community to put some life back into the place!  (Just looking to see if I've got a 'fidgety bump' in my hands, cos I've got the symptoms of this hand feature at the moment.

I'm always open to new ideas so any suggestions for improvements would be most welcome.

Lynn, strange how we all have our own first intuitive perceptions ... the 3th name is the only one that is easy for me ... D.B.J.

Susan ... are these all authors of hand reading books?

:clap well done Sue,

Martijn, you get no points for number 7, I virtually told you the answer.

"Are they all authors? Are they from UK? Are they alive?" good grief my friend, how many clues do you want?

I think 5 of them are dead, 2 alive and I'm not sure about the other one. Does that help at all?  :titter

Is nobody else playing this game?

Hi Lynn

Since transferring the entire site across to this new url, very few members are logging in! The stats are down by two thirds! Although I advertised the new url from the old site and it is pointing here from my main site, I have now put a link up from the previous address and hopefully it might encourage members to click on it!   I'm not sure what else I can do :what

I suppose it may take a little time...

Sue, I got a bit confused myself with the forum change - the temp new one at a different address, the email to say the old one was now sorted, then another email to say it had changed addresses. I wasn't sure which one we were supposed to be using. When I came here I couldn't log in, it didn't accept my password and wouldn't let me register as there was already someone here called Lynn! So I figured I was still registered, tried my old password and it worked (I had changed it fairly recently on the old forum). Oh well it will pick up again, the old site redirects to this.

Meanwhile here is number 9 with all the letters in it (took me ages to find an anagram for this person!)

9)  thwart brief red zen             (pssst...Martijn..... author, not UK, alive  :-) )

Yes, the transfer was confusing - it wasn't as smooth as I expected and there were some unexpected problems with hosting and transferring the database.  I was really worried it might be lost, so had to have a contingency plan, just in case.

I'm trying to think of a palmist who's got a z in their name :scratchchin

Hi Susan,

I noticed during the past week that palmistryinternational.net was not linked to the new domain ...  and I think the 'Admin login only' is misleading, since only you are able to use that feature.

So, you better take the 'Admin login only' away ... or put it 'off-screen'.

This will for sure encourage people to surf to the new domain name!

And of course ... you can inform all members via a simple e-mail about this permanent change!

Good luck!

You've got that figety bump, haven't you, Lynn?  Yes??  3am?!!!!!?????  And still able to solve these anagrams at that time of the morning?  Surely my hand must have developed a bump below Mercury, because do you know what came into my head when I first woke up this morning?  A palmist with a z in the name, for goodness sake!  But I got it, even before my first cup of tea of the day.  :yay

Martijn - thanks for your thoughts on how to get members back here at the new address.  I can't take down 'admin log in only' at the old site - unless I get some technical support on how to change the code.   But I have changed the page, and provided a clickable link to this site, which I didn't realise I would have to do. So, here's hoping it works.........

10) drops gone!  You've got me stumped here.  I'm going to be thinking about this all day, although I have a feeling that Lynn is going to get it before me. :cry

Hi Susan, yes a clickable link on the former site is really necessary to make the search engines noticed about the movement of server.

Regarding the login-item ... do you know how to put it at the bottom of the page?  - you can put in a place below what is visible when the page is openend - that would be what I meant with: 'off screen'.

Pssst...Lynn..... fortunately I do know a few hand readers with a 'z' in their name.

PS ... your 'creation' is a bit misleading ... 4 words where the actual name is only 2 words ... this is one of Christopher Jones (former) contacts: A.F.
