How a simple Handshake saved a man's life! A doctor from Woodford Green (UK) diagnosed a brain tumour just by shaking a man’s hand when he noticed a spongy feeling which triggered his professional concern. The gesture between two strangers saved Mark Gurrieri’s life when Dr Chris Britt recognised the symptoms of acromegaly, a tumour at the base of the brain that can cause blindness, diabetes, blood pressure problems and, if left untreated, premature death. (By the way, the exact meaning of the word 'PARANEOPLASTIC SYNDROME http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraneoplastic_syndrome ) CAN PALM READING PICK UP OVARIAN CANCER? Doctors in London picked up ovarian cancer via the hand! September 21, 2008 Spotting ovarian cancer, the "silent killer", is known to be very difficult. What if doctors could spot the disease simply by reading a woman's palm?
