Research reports: a KISS is healthier than a Handshake!!!
Prof John Oxford, Britain's leading flu expert and a virologist at Barts hospital and the London School of Medicine, said social kissing might help cut infections: "Social kissing on the cheek would not easily transfer infection while viruses can spread via the hands far more easily."

Interesting article. I get a majority of sickness from my 6 year old daughter. She goes to school, and comes back infested with everything. Our family had the flu last week, and doctor told me that a lot of the times the flu is spread to others before the person spreading it has any symptoms. I read one of Donald Trumps books last year, and he prefers to bow instead of shaking hands with business colleagues to avoid germs. Might be worth thinking about after the horrible flu that swept through the last couple of weeks.

I heard that kisses are actually healthy. The bacteria you're exchanging are not enough to make you ill but they make your immune system stronger.
Kind of like a when the doctor injects you with a little bit of a flu virus to make your immune system fight it so you won't get any flu after that.

Thank you MyshMash!
Yes, kissing is definitely a very natural thing to do ... and therefore it is no surprise that kissing makes the immune system stronger (due to bacteria exchange!).
I guess, with a handshake other type of bacteria are exchanged, compared to the kissing.
