Boaz!  I just finished the same book yesterday!  "Wisdom in Your Face"  as it was suggested to me by a numerologist friend as a tool to enhance palmistry readings.  What do you think?  I saw some similarities to palmistry, as far as the timing and elemental terms, water and earth particularly.   Does anyone know of other books on Chinese face reading?

Karla!

Wisdom of the Face is a very interesting read. I appreciate the conceptual classification according to the elements. I was trying today on subway (many subjects during rush hour!) to find correlations between face and palm according to elements.

Take water element for example, should manifest in strong chin, high forehead, smooth features, large ears, well defined philtrum, and watery (misty and/or shadow) eyes. Do these have analogies in the palm? Watery hands are often classified to posses fingers which exceed the (generally narrow) palm in length. The extra finger length could map to high forehead. The smooth features to lack of knuckles. What about the chin?

Then there is the wood element with strong eyebrows and jaws and generally long rectangular faces, a competitive and practical breed. What kind of palms would woody people posses?
