Hi there!

Does anyone know anything about foot reading? Is it quite similar to palmistry? What do feet tell you? Could it be usefull information in addition to the info we get from palm reading?

I've heard about foot reading but I don't know much about it, would be interesting to find these things out I think.

Hello Myshmash,

Yes, there are similarities between Palm Reading and Foot Reading.

However, in general the focuss of Foot readers goes out to the toes.

Imre Somogyi's website will provide you a good start:

PS. By the way, the 'culture' around Foot Reading is very small compared to Palm Reading. Also there is far less research on the feet available from the scientific community compared to the Hand. And one should always consider the fact that certain foot features are the result of a lot of walking, wearing shoes, etc.

I have read somewhere recently of a book called palm & foot reading.. just cant remember where i saw it at present..but that is what got me nto palm reading ..i

I walked into the hospital soon after my first grandson was born and saw the markings on his foot were really similar to many hand markings...ie three main lines very distinct... but i got waylaid on the palms and never got back to feet..

i have just casually observed that the feet lines look much more like the palm lines on the young kids.. altho i guess i dont get to see many adult  foot soles...
