I have been wandering around the community this evening and was amazed to see that some members user group status keeps changing - in particular the bronze and silver member groups! I have absolutely no idea why this is happening. Its a real puzzle!
So please accept my apologies if you are one of those members who is finding their status dropping from time to time. I have moved members across to new user groups by hand, and then come back to find they have slipped back. Most peculiar! And I'm at a loss to know why .............
I will report it to the site designer and see if they have any ideas why this might be happening, but in the meantime, if your member status appears to be moving around between user groups, please be aware that I know about the problem and am trying to fix it.
... yes Sue, I noticed this as well during the past week.
One member has a 3-star status after posting 10 message since jan 16th.
However ... I don't really mind!!
(though, you are in the position of the forum-manager and I think it is only natural that you are concerned about this - maybe it's a temporary error?)
The community had an upgrade a few days ago, and this has moved a few things around and altered some things. Many times I have to work out the php code myself and I have to admit that php is not the easiest of things to handle! Well, not for me anyway, although I am slowly getting better. But its tricky....very tricky and so easy to slip up and destroy something important! I've done that a couple of times and spent literally hours trying to put it right!!!!
So I will call in some experienced help on this one because member groups really shouldn't be moving around in such a haphazard manner. All very spooky!
