Wow, nice fresh look for the forum views. I like how the little guys move on the category page. This is a little easier on the eyes too.

... hmm ... I prefer the green theme ... I think the new theme is too 'colorless' for me.
By the way, do these little 'ants' in the new theme actually have a function??
Sue, another thing that I have on my mind ... I have noticed all these 'social bookmark' opportunities at the top of each discussion. I do recognize the value of all these opportunities, however maybe it is more efficient to use a 'button', like for example presented by Addthis.com:
http://www.addthis.com/
Maybe such a button is actually a more efficient technology.
Sue, I find it interesting to hear from you if you already have considered a button-like alternative?
PS. For your information: today I have decided to start using this button on my website news-items.

Hi Martijn
The themes on this site are not built by me, which is a great pity from my point of view because if I could do them, there would be loads of them to choose from. I like using different colours, depending on my mood, and love designing new web pages. So it is frustrating for me not to be able to offer more themes. (But you know, one day I might be able to, cos I love learning new stuff on the computer!)
So when it comes to writing php code, well .... I wouldn't say it was my best subject although I am learning and getting better all the time. I have had to scan through lots of coding, looking for something and not having a clue what I have been doing, but have got there in the end without having to ask for too much support, although it has been known!
So the new executive theme is not my own creation, but is made by the person who designed these forums. As soon as I get a chance, I will customise the theme a little, and replace the ants with hand images or something similar, and perhaps add a little colour. I agree, there is little colour in the executive theme, but I know I will be able to make those changes fairly easily. I made several modifications with the green theme, changing the logo, the colour of the posts and the background. There is also a purple theme available, which might appear fairly soon. It all depends on how much time I have to make changes.
Those icons at the top of the page that you mentioned are not my creation - and actually I don't think they should be there, but I have been sooooooooo busy over the last couple of months, I have just left them until I have more time. The end of May sees the end of some of my present commitments, and I have no doubt that at that time you will be seeing far more of me around here, and more changes going on. But I will look into the button you mentioned, and have already followed the link you gave, but need to investigate it further. And I will take a look at your site as well so that I can see the button in use.
Thanks for the feedback - it all helps me to ensure the community is how members would like it to be.
